We’re proud to work with TVA in a multi-cleanup effort to remove a massive illegal tire dump. This will be the 2nd cleanup following the original where 109 tires were removed in December 2025. We estimate there are at least 600 tires dumped at the site that is adjacent to the area’s new Mendota Trail that connects Bristol, Va. to Mendota, Va. The stream running through the area eventually feeds into the North Fork Holston River, which is a tributary of the Tennessee River.
